In our community high percentage of society was suffering from poverty. Najmeh’s grandfather was clergy. He would give speeches in the mosques on the pulpit and he was respected by the people. He had three children, two girls and a boy, his son-in-law similar to him was living outside of Iran. Khanoom Agha who was Najmeh’s aunt was not happy with her husband, and while her husband was going to Karballa she stayed in her brother’s home with all of her children, she was a brave, independent and kind woman, and she approved the marriage of her son Hossein to Najmeh. Hossein and his brothers and sisters grow up without presence of their father, Hossein was Najmeh’s aunt first child. He was honest, and kind and a member of liberal party and he could not tolerate staying with his mom after he lost his finger in the accident at work. So he run away to join the army. When Allies in World War II invaded Iran and forced it to join in the war Hossein came back home and he has his release note from the Army so as the neighbor’s child. He then got married to Najmeh and they both stayed on his mother’s house for on year in which they had their first child, named Ardeshir, Then they moved to the Capital Tehran , they wanted independence and freedom. There they rented a room on the sough side of the city. Their rented room always smelled because of the pit in the house, and he started to work in a factory as warehouse manager.
