This is the second post about immigration and sexual awareness. The first articale can be found here. The current one focuses on the topic of BF and GF.
Historically, the concept of BF and GF was not involved with Persian culture. It is mostly applied to describe a close relationship of two people from opposite gender. The main concern is the degree of closeness.
In Western countries even a very young male can have a girl friend and may have gone even to second base with her too. So, ethically there should be limitation on the quality of this relationship.
If one person is looking for sexual relationship but not the other one, this can’t be a healthy relationship. Both people should talk directly and honestly with each other from the very beginning of the friendship. Also, they should give each other the chance to express their personal ideas about the relationship and what they are looking for.
The friendship is called Boy-friend / Girl- friend relationship, because it’s not just friendship. In my opinion it’s friend with some degree of sexual benefit and joy for both parties. So, the relationship should be defined in terms of its goals.
What does most male look for in a relationship?
The adverb ‘most’ have been applied in the above question to mention that there are exception out there too, but most males want to have sexual relationship. So if a male specially Persian male propose to be a friend with a female he really means he wants to both have sexual relationship and be a friend,
The issue is in cases where a female is looking for a marriage. Personally, I neither agree nor disagree with having sexual relationship before marriage .This is a choice that everyone has to make on their own. But it is critical for each person to share with his partner what he is looking for. Most males think of themselves as heroes of attraction that means they think they can attract a female to have sexual relationship with them. In other words in my humble opinion since males are looking for sexual relationship mostly, if you; the dear reader are not in to it, and then having boy friendship with a male is not for you.
